NNENNA & FRIENDS INDEPENDENCE DAY SHOW RECORDS HUGE SUCCESS

Nnenna & Friends Independence Day Show, held on the 1st of October 2016 at the National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos was indeed a huge success. It had over 3,000 audience members present.

TV PRESENTER, GINA EHIKODI GIVES BIRTH TO TWIN BOYS

Yes, the two cute twin boys belong to Gina Ehikodi, the General Manager of wapTV and host of the Pidgin Culinary TV Programme, Foodies & Spices.
She gave birth on Tuesday at St. Mary’s General Hospital, US and afterwards she said:
“This is Giving all Glory to the Creator God, my Jehovah Overdo, the God of all Mercy, the God who does immesurable more than i have ever asked or Imagined, The God who has given me much more than i think i deserve. All Glory to this Great and Mighty God for this Blessings he put in my life. Officially Call me MAMA TWINS, IYA IBEJI, NNE EJIMA, IYA MBIU OR MOTHER OF NATIONS”

Gina tied the nuptial knot November last year.

BENIN COMMENCES ACTIVITIES FOR THE CORONATION OF NEW OBA


Activities for the coronation of the Crown Prince of Benin Kingdom, His Royal Highness Ambassador Eheneden Erediauwa as the Oba of Benin commenced during the weekend as the Edaiken finally departed Uselu in a foot procession from Egua-Ediaken in Uselu to Benin.

The occasion was witnessed by prominent Benin sons and daughters as well as dignitaries and supporters came out en masse.

CORPS MEMBER DECLARED MISSING

A National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, member serving in Zamfara State, Shorunke Lukmon Olayiwola, has been declared missing.
Lukmon is a former student of the University of Ilorin and 2015 batch B Stream 1 Corps member serving in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State with code number ZM/15B/1100.
He was declared missing on September 21 after he left his home in Abeokuta to board a night bus to Zamfara for his final clearance.
Sources disclosed that he was on his way to Zamfara in preparation for the NYSC’s batch B Passing Out Parade (POP) scheduled for October 6.
According to a sibling of the missing Corps member who simply identified herself as Laide, Lukmon informed his relatives that he would pass the night in Ibadan if he couldn’t find vehicle to Zamfara.

OSHADIPE TWIN CELEBRATES 2 YEARS OF SISTER’S DEMISE


Kehinde of the Oshadipe Twins continues to celebrate the demise of her twin sister – Taiwo, after two years. Her sister and singing partner died in 2014 from the Lupus disease.
Kehinde, who has been keeping up in the entertainment industry especially with a student lifestyle and entertainment programme on wapTV called Campus Bits,  also showed appearance in an interview on a live Cable Television this morning to talk about how it has been without her duo in the last two years.

Last year, Kehinde organized an Awareness Walk titled “#WalkAgainstLupus”. The walk was aimed at creating an awareness about the deadly disease and also to improve the quality of life of all those affected by Lupus. Also in honor of her late sister and humanity, an NGO called (TOTI) The Oshadipe Twins Initiative for Lupus was launched.
