OSHODI WASTE DUMP CALLS FOR ATTENTION

 

Oshodi (beside railway, close to the pedestrian bridge) is quite an unhygienic sight to behold.

A visit to the place shows waste spilled all over the floor plus the stench that ‘welcomes’ one.

Striving to make a living, traders around there give a blind eye to their dirty environment, as they are busy urging people to come buy their early morning goods.

 

 

It’s so unfortunate that many of the goods sold around this dump site are food items.

We hereby call on the appropriate authorities to see to this.

MUSON ORGANISES TALENT HUNT FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS

The Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) is calling for entries from young musicians. The winners and selected finalists from the MUSIQUEST Talent Hunt will feature in the Youth Concert during the 2016 MUSON Festival in October.

As announced in The PUNCH Newspapers on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, the competition will be in 3 phases. 

Phase 1

Date: Monday, June 1, 2016 – Short-listed candidates will be informed.

Phase 2

Date: Thursday, June 9 and Friday, June 10, 2016 – Live Auditioning of short-listed candidates from Phase 1 at the MUSON Centre

Phase 3 will be the Youth Concert/Competition as part of the MUSON Festival, where the winners will be selected.
