Yes! December 10, 2016 went down well; with amazing unforgettable
memories from every stage of #TY16.
Congratulations once again to the beautiful bride - Temitope Bankole and her handsome groom Adeyemi
Olanrewaju Ayoade.
The lovebirds met during their mandatory
one-year National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC) in 2012 and then on Saturday, they
walked down the aisle. Interesting love story …
Tope had been posted to Zamfara;
“Upon my redeployment to Ibadan, I met 'Deyemi. He happened to be
my local government CLO.
I never imagined it will be the beginning of a friendship that
would last a lifetime because our first meeting wasn't a pleasant one.
Fine, I got to his office few minutes later than his closing time
and I begged him just to sign and collect my file as I needed to return to
Lagos that evening. Despite my pleas and all, Ademi left the office without
attending to me. I was so sad because that meant cancelling my trip.
I got so angry the next day on finding out that he was also a
Corps member. There was nothing I could do as I still needed to go back to his
office. He later apologised and even helped with some other stuffs but I was
like "Guy, you are not nice, so park well"
Ever since then, Ademi never stopped 'stalking' me and to cut the
story short, we ended up being best of friends.
He proposed on 3rd January, 2016 during his family's New Year
party …”
The Bridal Shower
The
planning committee, Thank you!!! I loved every bit of it. You all rocked;
pretending to me especially coz we speak almost every day, I even chose the
outfit myself. Oh no! U all really got me #TeamTY16 #werock #bridalshower
“This
whole thing was planned right under my nose and I couldn't perceive it. Biggest
surprise of all time...a special shout out and thanks to my sister @surestmomma
the master planner.
Thank u for being there through all the brainstorming,
ideas incubation, brief moments of indecision and when i'ld just go crazy on u
for no reason. Nothing can separate us. Love u seriously....#sistaslove #twinnie #smallmummy; my
friend @olakemi, God bless ur home and everyone that was out for me, thank u
guys I appreciate u so much. God bless u all”
One of the bride’s friends had this to say:
“There are friends and there are friends …
Since 2011, all the way from FRCN Training School, to my
convocation, down to my own big day ………., I’m amazed at Temitope’s loyalty.
There are friends that stick closer than a sister. Temitope is
one.
I can’t think of a more perfect example of a friend in need and
indeed than Temitope.
They say friends are for support and companionship. Temitope is
unarguably one.”
When asked what stands her husband
out, the beautiful bride said,
”Ademi is a great motivator, a supporter and
an excellent listener. His maturity wows me, and in all, he made my heart crawl
out from its hiding place”
Temitope (Bride) continues …
“…. Looking back at how it all started.... #NYSCDays
"… plenty of ups and downs, plenty of tears, plenty of "we need to
talk" moments, plenty of break ups and make ups ...." #TheRestIsHistoryJor
And so I have said 'YES' to you, Ademi.
'YES' to being your No. 1, all the way till forever ...
'YES' to a future together come rain come sun ...
'YES' to God being the only 3rd party ....
And YES to you and me forever!
FOUR YEARS GONE AND
FOREVER TO GO!!!
