HOUSE BURNS AT USELU

Properties worth hundreds of thousands of naira were destroyed in a fire incident at No. 1 Good Samaritan Street, Uselu, Benin City, yesterday. 

While two children were rescued from the affected storey building, the men of the Edo State Fire Service battled to contain the fire which had already destroyed the upper floor of the building. It was gathered that tenants of the affected building were not at home when the fire began.

EGOR APC YOUTHS PROTEST AGAINST ILLEGAL REVENUE COLLECTION

 

This morning, APC Youths in Egor Local Government Area wards of Edo State marched to the State Government House protesting over allegations of collection of revenue from the local government by the party's Youth Leader, Osakpamwan Eriyo.

PHOTOS: MULTIPLE ACCIDENT IN BENIN

The accident occurred on Saturday night at about 11pm on Sapele Road opposite Kada Cinema, in Benin City.  

Fortunately, the only occupant of the car survived and was taken away by the police.

FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD DROWNS IN IYOBA, BENIN CITY

Iyoba Street off Textile Mill Road, Benin City was thrown into confusion and mourning on Wednesday following the death of a fifteen-year-old student. The boy - Ikponwonsa Igiebor drowned in a swamp within the area. 

From reports, there has been a flooding problem in the area and it has claimed two lives in three years.

Few days ago, Blessing Egbe, (Producer/Director, Lekki Wives) posted on Instagram a picture of stale moimoi she allegedly bought from Mega Chicken. She said she bought 5 that day at one of their outlets in Lekki near VGC, ate 1 in the car, gave 2 out, got home and kept the remaining 2 in the fridge (with electricity on all through) and by night, it had spoilt!
